First Summer Camping Trip
Last night we camped at Golden Gate Canyon State Park. The weather was beautiful yesterday driving up and for hiking/exploring when we got there. Right around dinner time it got SUPER windy and pretty chilly. Our camp stove didn't stay lit and then eventually ran out of gas :( So we put the pot on the fire - looks yummy doesn't it?! Carson did awesome and didn't mind the cold/wind a bit. As you can probably guess the 2 year old was not as thrilled about the conditions... So this morning we packed up early, drove the hour home and made a big breakfast at home! We have another camping trip planned in a couple of weeks so next time we will bring warmer gear!

ReplyDeletewhat a gorgeous camping spot! So fun for your kiddos! I think Chris will take the kids camping this summer minus the baby. I'm not much of a camper...I love the fires, but then prefer to sleep in a bed:)
