Dino Dig

Carson decided we should do a dinosaur dig this morning (immediately following breakfast since apparently that's the best time to look for bones).  He put some tools in a bucket and we were off to hunt in the field behind our house.  There are bones out there from who knows what (I really do not want to know), and he found a couple plus remains from a "Maiasaura nest".  Aliana wasn't into the Dino Dig, but she kept track of her baby and kitty.

Carson's writing

Carson has been really into writing these days.  He likes to write names of everyone in our family and extended family.  He'll put up signs around the house with names or names crossed out (like his sister's name and then he tapes it to his door).  Just recently he started writing little sentences (with help).

The one from this afternoon says: "Ali hit me".  Nice.  I guess the sibling love from the post a while back is on the downswing this week :).

Hawaii

We had a wonderful time in Hawaii last week with our Nana and Gr'pa John.  We loved building sandcastles, playing in the waves, swimming, going to the aquarium to see sharks and fish, eating lots of yummy dinners made by Nana, and seeing our cousin Kiki, Uncle Wil and Aunt Holly.  What a special vacation!
