My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. 2 Corinthians 12:9

Friends

I almost hate to say it, just in case I jinx it... BUT, the kids have actually been getting along really well lately and having a lot of fun playing together.  At one point yesterday I just had to stop and give God thanks that they have each other as siblings.  When they are getting along and Carson is using his "nice Ali voice" (which consists of him saying things like: "do you want this honey?" or "you can play with this Aliana") it brings joy to my heart!  (as I write this they are having a sleepover in Carson's bed, we'll see how long it lasts :)

Cold Temps

The temperature this week has kept us inside quite a bit, so we've stayed busy with legos, puzzles, more legos, decorating the fridge, some Wii action, and did I mention legos?  We did get out to make a snowman, but making snowmen is not my strongest skill so we made one sitting down ... much less snow to stack :).  In other news, Carson has decided to grow his hair as long as Capt. Jack Sparrow.  He's got a ways to go, but he is very determined.

Snow Day!

Crazy snow storm here in Denver.  They are calling for 12 - 18 inches.  We are happy because Daddy gets to stay home from school!  Enjoying the morning in pj's with hot chocolate and books, heading out to buy a sled soon...

Crazy Hair Day

It was "Crazy Hair Day" at the indoor play area today - we met Carson's sweet friend Abigail and her mom Kristy, for a great morning!  The kids had a blast and I loved the time to visit with Kristy!  They even have a room where kids can do projects which was great because painting is not something I love to do with the kids at home :) (you can see Carson's hair settled down some after he got completely sweaty).

Hebrews

12:1 - 3 ... "Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.  Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart."

The kids

Aliana is now wanting to do things "All by myself!"  She will even unmake her bed and undress herself if someone has done it for her!  Carson, however, prefers mom to do everything... :)
